From an early age, Braylyn’s passion for working with dogs was clear. Her professional career in the dog industry began in 2005, working with rescue dogs and puppies. Over the following six years, she gained hands on experience in a variety of dog boarding and daycare facilities, working alongside experienced professionals and trainers. This experience exposed her to a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and behaviours and helped build the foundation for her approach to dog care and training.

In 2011, Braylyn transitioned into professional dog grooming through an apprenticeship with master groomer Jeanette Embree. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge and experience across grooming, dog training, behaviour, and other areas of the canine industry.

Braylyn is also an active competitor in multiple dog sports, with a particular focus on PSA. Alongside her Dutch Shepherd, Emmitt, she has earned multiple titles, awards, and podium finishes, including success at regional competitions. She is currently developing her younger dog, Senua, with the goal of competing in PSA1, while preparing to compete in PSA3 with Emmitt in 2027. Through her own competition experience, Braylyn continues to grow as both a handler and trainer, bringing that knowledge and practical experience into her work with clients and their dogs.

Her commitment to ongoing education extends beyond competition. Braylyn holds Pet First Aid and CPR certification from SAIT, is a PIJAC Certified Canine Specialist, and is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).

Through Concise K9, Braylyn brings together more than 20 years of professional experience with dogs, combining practical experience, continued education, competitive dog sport, and a genuine passion for helping dogs and their owners succeed.
